The Bad Guy

Not a Klingon

After watching this clip I thought of another Star Trek analogy that fits with our times and is just as hopelessly pointless as Rep. Wu’s.

Much has been said  about Barack Hussein Obama.  Lately, about how his name reminds folks of enemies of the USA.  To those that believe Barack Hussein Obama’s name disqualify him from being our president, I refer you to Star Trek VI: the Undiscovered Country.

If you will recall, the Federation President looked very similar to a Klingon.  He had the ridged forehead, Fu Manchu ‘stache and long hair all typical to that race.  But he was not a Klingon, he was an Efrosian.  And nothing was ever said about his looks putting his patriotism into question when he negotiated peace with the Klingons.  So why should it matter that Barack Hussein Obama has an unfortunate name?  Come on America…It’s what’s inside that counts!  And to be honest, I have no idea what that is yet.
